What do we do?  Our Troop has monthly campouts filled with action and adventure such as canoe and rafting trips, hikes, wilderness survival, and more, including a week long summer camp.  Our Scouts learn camping, cooking, hiking, first aid and many other important life skills.  And yes, age-old knot tying!

Who are we?  Our Scouts are girls and boys (ages 10*-17) from Troy, Sterling Heights, Rochester, Birmingham, and other surrounding communities, and are from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.  Our adult leaders are committed to providing high quality, educational and exciting Scout programming.

STEM program:  Troop 1707 has a STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) NOVA Counselor with Super Nova Mentor status.  For more information on the NOVA program and awards, click here
